The Prayer Ministry is the cornerstone for all other ministries and programs of the church. Prayer is commanded throughout the Bible. For example, Philippians 4:6 says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God.” Intercessory prayer focuses on the needs and concerns of the individual and is a biblical priority. For example, 1 Timothy 2:1 states, “Therefore I exalt first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all [humankind].”

Fundamental to all we do as a body of believers is the act of reaching out to those who are in need, those in trouble, the poor, the downtrodden and the marginalized. Outreach is an essential part of what we do as Christians.



We provide food baskets at Thanksgiving, Christmas and other special occasions.

Everyone can make a difference in an elderly person’s life by providing companionship and spending time with those who are residents in a nursing home facility. Members of Christian Compass Ministries participate regularly in this ministry. Just a brief visit can help bring joy and a sense of hopefulness.

To enhance the work of our ministry and to maintain a historic recording, our media and photography ministry function in concert with the worship experience. The success of the Media Ministry is found in the dedicated work of those who have assumed this responsibility.
